SW
The big short
revenant
13 hours

all look good but are they worth the premium vs waiting a while?

Star wars is an event meant to be seen on a giant theatre screen.

If you're a fan at all of the series, go see it in theatres.

Big Short is a good movie, but easy to see on DVD.

Saw 13 Hours today, it was great. Haven't seen Big Short but would rank the others as 13 Hours, Revenant, SW.

Do yourself a favor and watch The Revenant on the big screen.

I watched the Revenant on a 32 inch old school tube TV a couple weeks ago, and it was really good. Im sure its even better on the big screen.

If he hasn't seen SW7 yet, he probably isn't going to unless he's had some kind of personal crisis going on

Revenant is worth a look on the big screen... the cinematography is remarkable.

I will see the Revenant in theatres just because I think the scenery will be spectacular. Filmed in Northern Montana for some scenes. Go see Star Wars if you are any kind of a fan of the originals.

If you're going to watch a Michael Bay film (which I usually don't, but made an exception for this one), watch it on the big screen.

Did you like Blackhawk Down, Lone Survivor, and American Sniper? If so, you'll like 13 Hours.

Star Wars is a must see IMO and was pretty incredible in IMAX 3D

Revenant is amazing, but long so keep that in mind

Revenant and Star Wars for sure

Revenant has some amazing shots and scenery

Big Short and Spotlight are very good but not really a need to seem them in theater

If you can find "room" it is incredible. Brooklyn and Carol are both Oscar worthy but in an artsy, non- commercial way. Probably not for most on this board.

13 hours was one big giant firefight, if that's your thing.

I want to see Room.

Trumbo was meh, Revenant was visually entertaining.

Two of the three are Oscar noms. So I'd say they are worth checking out in theaters.

Seems like another American Sniper type of film.

Agreed. See TFA on the big screen. "Borrow" the others from the internet. Screener dvds have been released so you can get a very clean copy. Or so I am told.
