Playing now on the Sundance channel. This is probably the worst sports movie ever made. The Knights uniforms at the end of the movie are the worst uniforms I've ever seen in all of sports. Not only did the story suck, they made everything else about the movie suck. It's like Oliver Stone set out to intentionally to make a horrible movie.

I want to now declare this is literally one of the WORST movies of all time!

I used to love this film as a teenager, but as I got older, I was embarrassed of how much I used to like it.

The art direction was baffling.

It's a decent take on the broken nature of the NFL but just a bad movie, one of the most visually ugly I've ever seen.

That part where the dude's eye popped out on the field was pretty good.

I actually have it on as background noise now and am wondering if Shark joined some sort of lawsuit against his league later.

Pretty good description for me too.

Also applicable to The Program and a slew of other movies.

It's deffinitly cheesy, but every sports movie is cheesy

It's one of the better representations of Football in film that's out there. Mostly because every other football movie goes full retard when it comes to showing on the field play

Also had some fun characters in it and one great scene (game of inches, depite it's cheese, is frickin awesome)

Calling it the worst sports movie ever in a genre with shite like Draft Day and Blindside is utterly ridiculous

Although the idea was good and good actors, it did somewhat suck. However, to say worst movie, GTFO!!! fricking Pacino and Foxx are still amazing characters

Prime example of the hyperbole on this board. Every single mediocre movie gets called the worst of all time

I love the Replacements and it is a top 5 football movie for me. But I never got why Keanu was let go after the other QB crossed over the picket line. He couldn't have just been the back-up? Then he shows up and Hackman is like, it's about time. But he was the one that just cut him..

I like AGS.

There was a lot of stupid shite in it, but the football action was pretty good.

Pacinos speech is great.

It wasn't the actual plays that made it a bad movie, it was shite like the fact that they played in the hottest city in the country and only had black helmets, jerseys and pants..... I swear they had someone who had never seen football design all the optics..... Hell the lights in Dallas were only 20 feet above the field
