I just did some reading up on Bane. Didn't know much. I think it could be a cool story line if they go the route of Bane fighting along side Batman. Seems like their could be a lot of history between the two which could make some interesting character behaviors/ relationship
I've got no problem with Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle. I don't know why everyone thinks it's gonna always be Catwoman all the time. shite, the Catwoman might show up at the end for all we know. I love the idea of Wayne being tempted by her and then finds out she is a villian. Just taps into his Savior complex. which IMO they haven't tapped into as much as they could.

If it were Talia al Ghul, then yeah it'd be great stuff since she has the means to destroy an entire city. But what's Catwoman going to do? Steal something? She's not threatening to Batman or the city in the least.

That actually sounds more interesting. Keep it simple, I don't need some grand overreaching epic. I'd love to see just a straight up crime thriller.

Yeah saving a bunch of rich people from getting ripped off by a girl is much more exciting than saving millions from death and insanity. ADVENTURE HO!
You just can't lower the stakes by that ridiculous of a margin to make a good trilogy.

I'm not saying this news is good or bad but some of you are really going a little overboard..

I am so excited about Bane. He is one of the better villains from the comics and I think we are going to see the death of Batman in this movie.

Maybe it is an overreaction, and yeah I flipped when I first heard they cast Heath Ledger, but I will gladly eat my words if the 3rd one is as good as the first two.

I was hoping for Talia, we've seen catwoman before. Im very surprised he went with Hathaway, but I trust noloan knows what hes doing.

I don't have a problem with Catwoman. If TDKR is based off of Prey then Catwoman's role will be pretty small. This is from a review of Prey
