Hardy as Bane? I want to say holy shite this is horrible news but I have no clue what direction they're going with this so I'm just going to have to wait until more is revealed.

so is that it then..Bane and Catwoman are the villians? thats kind of meh for the end of the trilogy IMO, but i trust Nolan to make it work

The one thing I didn't want from this film is god damn Catwoman. Hopefully they'll still go the Talia route since there are supposed to be 2 female roles (one love interest one antagonist) and I don't know how Catwoman could be a remotely intriguing antagonist since Bale's Batman doesn't give two shits about Cat Burglers.

Bane's super powers and ridiculousness can be removed without it negatively affecting the character, much how they did to the Joker and Ra's. Not overly concerned about Bane making an appearance, especially since they raped him and left him in a ditch in "Batman and Robin".

Landshark you have a good point. Talia could still be in play here. I'm thinking it's going to be Vicki Vale/Julie Madison but Talia would be awesome.
I really don't have an issue with Hataway or Catwoman. My concern is Bane but even there, I'm not too worried yet as I can't see Hardy and Nolan messing it up.

I'm betting its more likely that Catwoman will be a protagonist than an antagonist. I can see maybe Catwoman being inspired by Batman and then when Batman goes into hiding, she takes up his position as protector of Gotham. That wouldn't be too bad, but as an antagonist, I just can't see it. Batman has much bigger fish to fry than Catwoman, nor is she particularly threatening to Batman or the public at large.

I was really holding out for Black Mask. I figured he was going to be what all the underworld united up with for protection.
Instead we're left with Juice Head Bane and Cat Woman. This is going to be lovely. I guess the 3rd installment truly is always the worse.

I still contend it's bullshite if they make her an protagonist. Why don't they just bust out Batgirl if they want Batman to have a frick buddy.
Catwoman typically does small time shite and giving some uppity actor like Hathaway a role as an actual villain would be major suckage.
I rather they had just made Johnny Depp the Riddler if they wanted to incorporate some major name.
