Wow so young. I’ll always think of him in the Court Marshal of Jackie Robinson, Frequency and the made for TV Tuskegee Airman movies, but he was in a lot of other great stud. Rip.

Brutal on that one. Holt is an all time character and he played the greatest gay straight man ever (with respect to Oscar.)

Thief is another awesome one with him.

Rare that I get “that” sad about an actor’s passing but this one stings.

Damn that’s sad. Pretty young. His character in Brooklyn 99 was so good.

Damn, his performance in Glory was so good. The rosy eyed innocent who marches off to war and is smacked with a huge dose of reality once there.

Initially didn’t like his character in 99…by the end might have been my favorite

Man, he was so great in damn near everything he was in. He gets a ton of TV love but he had some memorable movie roles too - Glory, The Mist, Frequency, City of Angels, I'm probably forgetting a ton.

Super talented actor.

I remember him in Glory... was a breakout role for him and he was amazing in it. Then in Brooklyn 99 he proved he had amazing comedic timing and delivery as well.

He (Homicide) and Dennis Franz (NYPD Blue) are my top two cops ever seen on TV. For you young guys who haven’t watched Homicide it was a very well done show and Braugher’s character made the show.

He was the most riveting and compelling character on Homicide. He made me want to become a more skilled interrogator.

Did not think he would be a good fit for a comedic role in Brooklyn 99. He pulled it off again.

Definitely gone too soon. His too soon passing will lead me to appreciate his craft even more. Hopefully we’ll get to see Homicide on a streaming platform soon.

his character was really great. I loved when he would be undercover acting like a straight guy. The things he would say about women were so funny.

He was great in Homicide. Wish he could have done more.
