Im waiting for the Malcolm X movie starring Matthew McConaughey as Malcolm X. I wonder if everyone would treat the diversity the same.

frick that noise. Diversity for diversity's sake is asinine.

The narrative underpinning this idea is hysterical. I mean, it can be taken in so many different crazy directions.

It would appear your implication is that thinking this is a stupid idea is tantamount to being prejudiced. Or "raaaaaaaaacist" by today's pussified application of the word. Most folks who play the race card today couldn't differentiate between prejudice, racism and bigotry if their life depended on it.

If you have Apple TV it is already on there on the abc app. I saw it and I liked it. I miss the old black TV shows like martin, fresh prince, family matters. Good ole days.

I love the second season of fresh off the boat. The first episode of season two is easily my favorite of the series

Uh, Malcolm X wasn't a fictional person.

Nia Long is still fine as hell. Primary reason I'd watch. Plus, who here really hates Day-Day?

I think ABC caught hell a few years ago for not having enough "ethnic" shows, so they are really starting to push it out there. Hey, I'll give it a shot. IDGAF that the cast is black, I just don't understand the point of a tv show based on a 25 year old movie. I guess I should be thankful this isn't a movie remake...

So her idea of diversity is to make everything black? What about other races?
