You hear stories all the time about certain performers turning down or being passed over for movie roles. List an actor/actress and role you would've liked to see them in.
Tom Hanks- Frank Costello (The Departed)

I will have to disagree with this. I thought Jack Nicholson nailed it.

Not saying he didn't. Just saying it would've been cool to see Hanks play it.

Nicholson's acting was way over the top and I've never been a fan of Hanks in dramatic roles. Personally, Robert Deniro would have been a much better choice than either of them but he turned down the role.

Denzel in Brad Pitt's role in "Seven" (He passed up the role...would have been great to see him and Morgan Freeman)
Edward Norton in Leo's role in "Gangs of New York"
Daniel Day Lewis as Vincent Vega in "Pulp Fiction" (He really wanted the part....and even though John was awesome, it would be cool to see if DDL could pull it off)

Gabourey Sidibe in Sharon Stone's Basict Instinct role.

Boy, I really wish David Schwimmer had been cast as Agent J in Men In Black. They'd probably have like 8 sequels by now instead of only 2.
And moving along, I wonder if the Matrix would've been as good with Will Smith as Neo.

Oh gosh I remember when people actually thought the stars from that show would go on to have decent careers.

Will Smith as Green Lantern, as well as a better movie in general.
John Belushi in anything after 1982

Smith in Matrix would've probably pushed the first movie into my top 10 all-time list and made the remaining two much more bearable

Wow there are some really shitty ones that you guys picked (not directed at you, Rittdog).
Really?? That's crazy. I couldn't see him doing it. It is DDL, though, so it'd definitely be cool to see.

If somebody ever said anything bad about DDL on this board, would they immediately be banned?

Will smith would've made the matrix a movie worth watching twice. Keanu as Neo is some of the worst acting ever.

Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz in Bad Boys, just to see had bad it would have been.

I heard somewhere that a Mercury film was going to get made w/SashaB.C. After seeing that scene in Dodgeball with the "Tonto" song playing though,I thought if Stiller could pull off a serious role he looked just like Freddy.
