I think there were about 2 who could possibly break into the top 24. It was only an hour show. Comes on again tonight.
They teased at the start about meeting the Top 24 before the auditions. They sang and did a nice job, but you couldn't see who they were. I haven't googled for leaks yet.

Hat, you gotta catch up with life! You behind the times. Yep, country vote pulled it off again. The Voice has yet to produce a star, though some have gotten good gigs.

This show is not entertaining anymore. These judges are too soft. They get a singer begging for the extra vote it just happens. It needs Simon type to just be blunt.

They didnt show hardly any clowns and I am glad because it got really absurd for the past few years. I want to see ppl worth a shite and quit letting all the clowns through just for ratings

The clowns are the only reason I watch I usually stop watching after the audition round because of that

Watching now. I loved blind guy. Really enjoyed his style.
Harry says no most often, so far.
The girl with the box thing hardly sang.
Rainbow guy has a nice tone. Not sure how far he'll go, but I enjoyed him.

The audition episodes were really well done this week and entertaining... you really didn't have the over the top absurd clown audition like the past seasons.
Instead you had a really great audition with the piano playing 28yr old and Harry made it fun and entertaining at the end.
Also the chemistry with Jlo, connick, and Keith has really improved from last year and it appears to be more contestant centric than it has been in years past post Simon.

Piano girl was interesting. She kept my attention though I wouldn't want to hear 5 songs that sound that way. It would get old, I think.
She and Harry were great. She can play.
Sounds like some improvements are forthcoming.

only watched the first hour of last night's show so far.
Blind guy was really good... but, how does he watch movies? just wondering.
the little girl is a future star... and the mom is hot ! I was like Harry "i was really really hoping she could sing"
girl on the box thing was annoying.
the goofy guy who had to be told to straighten up is aggravating too. reminds me of a guy a few seasons back who couldn't turn the stupidity off long enough to be successful.
ryan gossling was pretty good.

He probably gets more of the nuance of a good movie by listening than most sighted people do by watching.

Thanks for the post.
As the season goes on, for example, results are given and if folks haven't watched the results show before they read the thread, they may see spoilers because the results show is discussed. Some folks read the thread before watching and then complain that they found out the results. Too bad, so sad. Yeah, after the cute little girl sang, I was praying Mom was good enough to make it through, but I figured the producers knew she would make it and allowed the whole scenario.

I think you misunderstood my post. Is it dumb to want to understand what motivates people? I didn't post to troll, I posted a question to learn what motivates people. Try and be less defensive in the future, it will get you farther.
