New judges and not all about them, but you tend to focus on them anyway, plus there wasn't as much stupidity as usual. It was all so dark and tense last year with that panel. Just awful. Two prima donnas ruined it and made the entire season so difficult to enjoy. HCJ is a great addition so far.

Exactly. I have no interest in the trauma drama of the bad singers. Obviously, we have to see some of the folks who got jilted, but at least they aren't all ridiculous. So much lighter and more fun this year.

HCJ said when people came in acting stupid to just obviously be on the show, they refused to acknowledge them and they were escorted out.

Really enjoyed the season premiere. HCJ is an awesome addition. I look forward to watching he and Keith's bromance flourish

I haven't been this excited about AI in a long time. Strange not seeing Randy up there but I enjoyed it. I really thought last year was the beginning of the end

It was and it was the end for me unless they got a decent judge's panel. Last season was so dark and gloomy and stressful. I was mad after nearly every single show because I had to waste time with the prima donnas and their BS in order to see the singers. It's like the sun came back up and the lights are turned on. Breath of fresh air. I bet HCJ's sales increase after this. I hope he performs some.
