All of this. The fro is weird, but ok she can sing.
But that version of Creep was really weak and Harry was slobbering all over it to let that dude through tonight after he sounded mediocre again.
And let me just put this out there: the fact that Scotty McCreary actually won American Idol waters down every winner. He can't hold a note for more than a 2 count and his songs are unlistenable. They should try to make everyone forget he was ever even on the show, much less won. He is a disgrace to singers. Corny and no talent. I have loved this season, and then he showed up.

damn! they sent 5 of the 12 home in one night? That was brutal!
i cannot believe the off the grid girl made it through again ! the wavy blonde girl and the girl with the jet black hair we both better.
Scotty as a "mentor" c'mon. I'm assuming they couldn't afford Carrie or Kelly but, those are the 2 these people should be getting advice from. Not a bunch of losers who can't even be considered one hit wonders.
I do like ruben tho.
Lauren is almost unrecognizable..in a good way.
I like Caleb. but, his style just overpowers whoever else is singing with him.
we knew from the time the big haired girl got paired with fantasia, she was safe. That was the biggest "frohawk" i have ever seen!
But, fantasia? hey girl lemmy show you how to win idol and go broke real quick.
Daughtry should be fun next week.

Some of the pair ups and songs were a little bizarre. Of the Grid Mountain Girl and Scotty....I still can't get over how bad that was.
Will they have the same Idol alums this week for the pairs or some new ones? I didn't pay any attention to that if they announced it.

Hopefully, this group of alums will be better than the other group. The pairs parts weren't nearly as entertaining as I'd hoped.

Overall, I thought last week was better than this week, so far, though last week's duets had some pretty rough rounds. I'm anxious to see how tonight goes with that.

Duets this week were overall better than last week. I thought Haley played up herself more than the contestant. Did either of her contestants make it? Daughter was great. So was Jordan Sparks. And David Cook.
I wonder who picked the Queen song. It was destined to fail as a duet in my opinion.

I agree about Haley.
Tristan and Olivia are my top two.
While I love Trent's voice, he could try looking normal while he sings. He couldn't connect with Jordon in their song because he was too busy being quirky. I went back and watched his performance from last night and saw that it wasn't as good as I initially thought. Maybe I was excited because it was a Chris Stapleton song.
Maybe he needs some guidance. He's got the voice.

There's something about Trent's face that gives me the creeps though he looked better tonight and I liked him better.

I was so ready for Jenn to go. I feel like I want to pull things from her mouth and head. Listening to her talk makes me feel like I do when the dentist gives me Xanax and the gas. Too slow and goofy for my comfort level.
