Bradley Cooper's character is very likeable.
Really? I hated his character and the way he started treating Louis C.K.'s character

am I the only one who felt like I was watching a watered down Scorsese movie?

Just got back from it, I thought the fist 40 minutes or so was increbly boring, but once Carmine comes into the picture it got much better.
Loved Jennifer Lawrence, and disapointingly, I didn't like Cooper that much.
I liked the film a lot.

Amy Adams just cant compete with that star power though
Utter horseshite.

I thought she was great. Then again, maybe her breasts kept me distracted from her acting.
Well, they did try and steal every scene they're in.
First movie I've actually gone to the theater to see in almost five years, and it absolutely kicked arse the whole way through.
Killer soundtrack too.

I've seen several people mention Amy Adams breasts.......what breasts? She has none. She wore lots of sternum revealing articles of clothing. That's distracting?

Yet another American male ruined by the sight of too many implants.

You either need a prescription for some new glasses or for some Cialis. Her tits are literally fricking perfect.

Wonderful flick. The only complaint that I can give merit to is that it drags just a little at the beginning, but the performances were enough to get over that. Quite humorous as well.
I loved that there was no real bad guy. Each person had different motivations, sure, and in a way, they were all bad people (the protagonist is a con-artist for Chrissakes) but there wasnt a dragon to be slain and I legitimately connected with each character.
And I cannot say enough about the acting. I actually thought Jennifer Lawrence did a great job of being a pain in the arse but also being identifiable. Bale is one of the greatest actors of our time and he continues to prove it. Renner was as good as he was in the Hurt Locker. Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper were spot on. Just truly a well made film.

I thought the live and let die cleaning scene with JL was incredibly well done. She also did a great job of making people cringe when she revealed to Bale what she had told the mobster about Fed involvement. Even if you knew that Bale wasn't going to get whacked, you just had the feeling he was so fvcked at that point.

Just saw it last night. Acting is great. Plot/storyline sucked. Not a comedy
2/5 imo
