In addition to Bryan Cranston being beyond amazing, Melissa Leo WAS Lady Bird.

Bradley Whitford as Hubert Humphrey was great casting and I have loved him since his days as Josh Lyman on "The West Wing".

And I was my arse off when LBJ was asking alleged homosexual and cross dresser J. Edger Hoover for advice on spotting a homosexual. Fantastic scene.

I thought the movie did a great job in showing that even MLK and other civil rights leaders had to compromise and play the political game just as much as politicians did in order to achieve their goals. It would have been easy to show them as principled, righteous heroes but they too had to bend to the union money men and political realities.

I hope all involved get showered with Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
