On a side note, based on the previews are we to assume May's ex is for sure dead? There was no hint of him escaping in the clip.

They at least believe him to be, but he probably managed to crawl under a dumpster or something.

I just have this feeling that Lash will be someone in the ATCU group or whatever their name is. Maybe even that head lady chick or that dude who seems to be 2nd in charge behind her.

Maybe I am reaching though......

He certainly seemed the obvious choice. Somebody earlier said that he was shown in the subway while Lash was rampaging.

I was leaning toward Andrew until the preview for next week. Don't think he is dead though.

I really hope they don't spend too much time on him next week because I have zero interest in him. Hopefully they're moving on from the Inhumans drama, for the most part, after mid season.

I'd rather they focus more on the Ward/Hydra threat and whatever issues the Civil War brings on.

well prepare to be disappointed b/c this show is going to be more about Inhumans than Hyrda from now on.

Also, at wanting more Hydra stuff when you want focus on Civil War issues. The Inhumans story line CLEARLY is more important to that film's central themes than Hydra castoffs ever could be.

I definitely want more Inhumans stuff. I'm a little tired of the Hydra stuff and feel like Ward has been overplayed. Maybe they'll find a way to keep him fresh.

Yes, the divide over inhumans is directly leading towards civil war. However, two of the film villains are closely tied to Hydra. This is part of why I don't follow the Ward storyline: he thinks he's rebuilding Hydra, but there are major hydra players such as the antman person that don't seem to factor into his organization. I think he is building his own organization for his own uses, and is using the Hydra brand to help him do that.

I know and I never said the powered people need to go completely but I'm more of a fan of the espionage/spy classic SHIELD type action. Let's get the Secret Warriors going and go after Hydra or AIM or whatever. I'm all for using them for SHIELD action.

Not as interested in watching an Inhumans show as I am a SHIELD one. I'm sure it'll all work itself out eventually. This show is consistently on mark.

says logic

Marvel won't gain control of the X-Men related properties anytime soon unless Fox tanks as a company. They are going to use AOS to introduce the concept of inhumans to the masses so that come 2019 the average Joe Blow won't confuse them w/mutants.

Solid rebuttal.

I'm well aware of Marvels decision to purposely push out the mutants and have the inhumans take their place. Hell, they're sending the comic mutants off to another planet. None of that means that AOS has to turn into an Inhumans show, which I don't think it will anyway.

I don't mind them being a part of the show but preferably not what the show is centered around as it has been recently.

I'm gonna go ahead and predict that if Hydra stays part of the show past this year it's b/c Ward recruits inhumans to be on his team.

I don't think he will make it past this season though. Dude is gonna get killed at some point fo sho and once that happens its bye bye Hydra.

This doesn't really have anything to do with the latest episode, but the convo of mutants/inhumans reminds me that I'm pretty sure I heard Mac call one of the Inhumans a mutant at the beginning of an episode, maybe episode 2.

I have a feeling ward will stick around for a while. It seems like he will be that nemesis that carries over for a few seasons.

you'd need Hulu to catch up completely b/c its 5 episodes deep on the new season.

That's an extremely subtle intimation that it might be "Ego".

if you were hooked that early in season 1 you should be very pleased at the direction it goes.

IMO about halfway through season 1 is when it starts to get really good (roughly when its tie in w/the events of Winter Solider happens)

So I'm all caught up with this show, but I haven't really seen many of the other Marvel shows movies. I think I saw the first Thor, Iron Man, and Avengers--also I've seen Daredevil.

Is Agent Carter any good? Is it on Netflix?
