It has become a caricature of itself...all dark, somber conversations, two word answers, and long brooding stares...the acting has gotten unbelievable and cliche’...

One weird (but refreshing) thing I noticed about Bosch was Maddie, his kid. She has to be one or the very few likeable teenagers in a drama that I've seen.

Yeah I was kind of disappointed with the final season, found myself bored with it pretty often.

the list of shows that didn't go too long is very very short, almost nonexistent

Could have been better with a full 10 episode season.

I mean, it wasn't terrible. The season just felt unnecessary.

I enjoyed the last season, and I look forward to watching the spinoff, as well.

I wouldn’t say it went too long, the writers just did a terrible job ending the series. I still want more Bosch and am still interested in his story. It just was a season that felt rushed to end the series when they shouldn’t have.

It wasn't as great as past seasons, but I thought it was ok. It was entertaining to me.

I binged this a while back. For some reason when I was in the middle of the series around season 3, Amazon's play nest episode feature automatically bumped me up to the middle of the last season which I guess was the episode that had just been released.

I confusingly watched about 30 or 40 minutes before I figured out the Amazon glitch. But a ton of stuff got spoiled in the process. I kept wondering, who are these people and when did this person get a promotion? Oh wait this character died, how did I miss that? The black police captain had a one night stand with the Asian girl in the episode I had been watching and then when they bumped me forward in time the next episode I saw them they were in the hospital having a premature baby. I thought, boy that escalated quickly.

I think they spent too much time setting up the spin-off, which made it come across as unnecessary and rushed. I still enjoyed it, but they definitely could have cut it in half if they got rid of all the bullshite side stories. Then again, maybe those come full circle in the new show

I still have three episodes I haven't seen. Was intentionally watching one episode at a time when I started the season, because I knew this was supposed to be the end. It's been a couple of weeks since I saw the last episode I watched. It's been a disappointment so far. Not excited about finishing it, but will.

yea to me, it should have either been half as long to twice as long. Either remove the setup for the next series or play off of it and dont rush the other details.

was the weakest season by far but i understand stand why. Writers more concerned with spinoff.

I think you are overselling it, but yes it was a bit of a stale season. Very forgettable. I think they rehashed many of their plot tricks from previous seasons that made it a bit eye rolling at times. How many times do we need to see someone close to Harry get shot? There were quite a few wells that went dry this season. Also they overplayed the SJW crap with Lt. They have always been very even handed with political topics in the past, but this one felt forced and against the general feel and theme of the series prior to it. It detracted from the season and story big time.

Still there were enough good moments overall to make me enjoy it. It was a decent season for an otherwise phenomenal series.

It was by far the worst season.
