Yeah I wasn't that bad, but I do have a friend who knows this shite like Rainman. He rattles of the the kingdoms, successions and all the characters like he memorized the books.

Worse, when we watch an episode he asks questions the entire fricking time about "who's this" and "who's that"

Honestly, I'm glad I never read the books. The story has many unexpected twists and turns, and for me, experiencing them completely blind has been part of the fun.

You act like reading the twists and turns is a less intense experience. I almost threw my book across the room when I read the RW.

I just downloaded all of the old episodes to rewatch while I'm bored on nightshift. It's very good.

For it's genre, it may be the best ever.

HBO has come out with 3 of the greatest shows of all time. GoT, The Wire, and The Sopranos. All three are worth watching

Im in season 5 and Im honestly let down. Was expecting more. Its good, but nowhere near GOAT like so many think. It cant touch Breaking Bad, Homeland, or even Dexter to me. The Wire is better, Peaky Blinders is better, and Narcos is shaping up to be pretty phenomenal.

Season 5 is very slow for many of the early episodes so I understand why you say that but just wait...

Lmao.

It slaps the ever living frick out of Dexter. Dexter was a solid show that went downhill after season 4. From there it was garbage. Season 5 of GoT is the worst season of the series, but it features a top 3 episode. Season 6 was fantastic.
