7 Miscast movie roles
Disagree with Halle Berry can't act, agree with Catwaoman sucked.

Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder really take the cake for the most atrociously miscast actors (perhaps in general) in Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula.

GF III was a decent movie and it had a good plot, but it could have been great with Rider (or anyone else for that matter) as Mary Corleone. Especially when compared to other movies from the past 20 years.

Should say

Couldn't possibly agree more with No.1. When I read the title to this thread, the first role that came to mind was Keanu Reeves in BS Dracula.
And in the spirt of miscast movie roles, why is Adolf Hitler and Tom Cruise even mentioned in the same sentence. On the one hand you have what is generally considered the most evil man ever conceived, and the other one authorized the unprovoked invasion of Poland.

Sounds good, except for the fact Cruise isn't playing Hitler, he's playing a Nazi officer conspiring to kill Hitler.

Leonardo DiCaprio in "Basketball Diaries".I would be more believable as a female gymnast.

The fact of the matter is that Mark Wahlberg gets “miscast” in every movie where he isn’t running, punching, shooting and fighting bad guys in one form or another – with the exception of a few films, such as I Heart Huckabees and Boogie Nights (in which he plays an empty-headed naïf, but he plays it well).
Disagree. The Departed.

Cameron Diaz makes Gangs of New York unwatchable. Worse than Sharon Stone in Casino.

George Lucas and Hayden Christiansen almost ruined Darth Vader for me. He should be on this list.
I agree with you all about Wahlberg, he has done a good job in many roles. Just off the top of my head, 3 kings, Boogie Nights, he made The Big Hit watchable.

Don't forget Rosie O'donell as Betty Rubble. For crying out loud, Betty was a hottie.

I'd forgotten about that. Jesus WTF? Betty was hot.
