3 Ninjas

Who the frick does Emily think she is? When the guys are biking to school, why does Emily blame Rocky when her dumbass gets bike jacked? Rocky wanted to ride through the dirt path with Colt and Tum-Tum, and if Emily couldn't keep up, that's her fault. Instead, when the classic bully duo of tall spiky haired blonde kid and tubby black kid with backwards hat take off with her ride, she (in the most smartass way possible) says, "Way to go, showoff." I mean, WTF, how is that Rocky'a fault?
Also, if the bad guy (cant remember name, I think Striker?) really was the most wanted FBI target, surely he had some better button men than those three stoners. Why didn't he just send that huge arse Asian dude to grab the kids? That guy ends up grabbing them all anyway after the kids have a field day on those stoners.
Back to how big of a whore Emily is: after the kids are successfully napped, Emily is left a note to give to their mother. So she gives the kids' mom the note and runs away. WTF? An FBI agent's three kids have been stolen by the biggest criminal ever, and she runs home without answering any questions? The mom even calls out to her as she runs away: "Emily, wait!" But that little ho-bag just keeps running. Why the hell would she not stick around to help the police in any way she could?
Discuss.

I totally forgot about this movie. Used to watch it just about every day as an early teen.

Perhaps he wanted to distance himself as much as possible. I mean he assumed they were just three kids, not three kick arse brawlers. It's not a bad idea to hire some guys you don't even know to do a seemingly easy job first then later use the true muscle.

Why is the grandfather Chinese and his grandkids don't have an ounce of Asian blood in them? Why is it called 3 Ninjas when they aren't at all? Also if the grandfather is Chinese, why would they be Ninjas in the first place since Ninjas are from Japan? This film is not at all worth analyzing and is just terrible, and rips off TMNT and Home Alone to the upmost extreme.

Agreed. The two films this ripped off, TMNT and Home Alone are well worth overanalyzing, especially Home Alone which I could talk ramble on about for 10 pages, but I think we should save that for Christmas.

I've thought about making the thread like 3 times and have always decided to wait til Christmas. Trust me it will happen. It's one of those films where it is an absolute joy to analyze every single character and small plot. It will be over 40 pages long, especially if we add the second one to the equation.

Took down the over analyzing in respects to the other poster; I didn't know it was his thing, I thought it was a Movie Board thing.
Also, I'm shocked at the hate for 3 ninjas. A little more obscure than the other three movies, sure, but not any more cheesy or less nostalgia-inducing.

Grandpa is Japanese. He bagged him a white girl so his daughter is half Jap. Then she married a white guy so the kids don't have much Jap in them. Weren't you paying attention at all? Of course they're gonna make them white though. It's Hollywood.
And it clearly says on the poster that it's a cross b/n TMNT and Home Alone. You people knew what you were getting in to so quit bitching.

No sweat. I don't think Forever owns the rights to "over analyzing". I just thought it was unusual and that maybe you two were connected somehow. Feel free to start all the over analyzing threads you want.
