They will be turfing most of the infields in the near future.. I loved their manicured infields when kept up but the lost revenue from rain outs has forced the turf on all parks that want consistency.
I really hope this expands true league ball in the area and can calm the travel ball craze in Baton Rouge.. I'd love for my youngest to play in a quality league and mix in some tournaments. My oldest had a few years of this and then the bottom fell out for leagues as he aged..

When the park first opened, the leagues had AAA and AA divisions. They were full and most of the league teams were basically the same as the travel/tournament teams. It was very competitive. The quality of league play over there in the last few years is almost embarrassing.
Do you know if the dirt areas of the infield will be turf also?

Not to worry guys, he's designing shoes for his boy. The release to the public will be in 8 years or so. Word on the street is TheBigEd1 will retail for $765.99 plus tax and shipping.

Bruh, he's enrolling him at Southern Nevada Junior College. His academics were off the charts in elementary school, so they enrolled him at the same JuCo that Bryce Harper went to. This way, he can spend more time on the field where his future lies, and continue hammering 500-foot homers.

My understanding is that they will turf the infields of most /if not all the fields. Some of the fields have really good drainage but I dont believe any of the back fields have drainage in place.. Ill be curious how they use the 2 little fields in the back corner..

Lol just saw this. Y'all are funny. It's youth sports what do you want me to say? Am I supposed to really care or get excited that he dominates at this level? I don't.
His grades are great. he didnt even want to play baseball this year. Enjoys football more.

doubt it. Y'all want a real update? Cool. The oldest brother was shot and killed. The middle brother who was breaking records tore his acl and dropped out after his brother died.
The youngest plays angry and is a bully with pads on.
What else y'all wanna know?
