Really really tough to argue that his team wins are his teammates fault when he doesn't guard anyone on defense and HEAVILY contributes to those low win totals.

I quoted a hypothetical from you, who doesn't deal in hypotheticals.

Ok cool point and all. How many wins do the Thunder have without Russ?

So now we have to switch Harden's position to get him on the damn team?

Who cares? We don't deal in hypotheticals like that. It could never be proven. if I gotta guess I would say 35. They would be a top 5 defense.

Do you watch OKC games? I can probably count on one hand the times I've seen the player Westbrook is on take the shot. It almost never happens.

Oh, I've almost forgotten, Houston 23-18 after the halfway point now after getting railed last night.

I'd love for Kawhi to win another DPOY, but I don't see it this year due to a combination of voter fatigue and him expending so much energy on the offensive end. He is still an elite defender, holding Lebron, Westbrook, Harden, and PG to 25% shooting in clutch time. That's all I really care about.

In an entire season? I'll take that bet.

"Count on one hand" when you are this trollerific can't take anything you say serious.

it maybe appears that 'his man' doesn't take many shots. That's bc he isn't even close enough to the guy for casual fan to know that it was his man taking the open shot all game long.

There are only guards, forwards, and centers on the all NBA team. It doesn't get specific.

Oh if I was a voter, I would give it to Brogdon, but I'm just basing it on what I predict will happen. I think Embiid will still win it even after playing only 30 games or so.

This may be true for Westbrook but the FGs contested stat is generally useless when we are talking about who can defend better.

You put 2 guards, doesn't matter if it's PG or SG (Harden/Westbrook)

Two forwards (Bron/Kawhi)

Then a PF/C (Davis) second team will be interesting

You can pull up a couple random box scores to see the opposing teams guards shooting 30-40x a game to blow that out the water real quick.

He maybe 'can' defend better. That's doesn't mean he 'does'.

One is potential. One is actual.

Rookie of the Year: Brogdon
