Regarding the 4th down play against texas.... 4th and 2 or shorter the ball was always handed off to lendale. In fact, lendale scored an 11 yard td on 4th and 1 earlier in the game. Lendale also scored a 5 yard td on 4th and 1 in the orange bowl against Oklahoma. 4th down was always lendale time, bush was never on the field

Red Grange actually isn't a bad answer. College football takes off without him, but he was a huge star.

But I don't see how it's anyone other than Herschel.
