Times are tough in New Haven. $40B isn’t what it used to be.

Duquesne school newspaper article about it
Creighton Prep HS of Omaha band is acting as Duquesne’s band. They did at Thursday’s game, and will Saturday also.

Pretty cool. It's always nice to see other bands step in when travel costs become an issue. Learning the other team's music likely didn't take too long either, mostly just the fight song and any other quick specific pieces.

While that is very cool gesture by Idaho, the fact that the school with the second largest endowment cannot scrape together enough money to send their band to a NCAA tournament game is laughable.

It’s probably just an excuse for all them liberal douches not wanting to go out in public out of fear of Covid.

Whose side are you on, amigo?

It must be a logistics thing, because I think the nCAA pays for the cheerleaders and band to go for every team. So I don’t think it’s budget related.

When you have 1000 dei hires at 100k it tends to put a dent in your budget.

I'm on the people are "inherently good side" and not "everything is a GD political conspiracy side."
How's that?
How's that?

Some people are evil. Like the ones running our country into oblivion right now.
Just so you know.
Just so you know.

Yeah I know that. I'm not oblivious.
But this is just a case of doing the right thing and you miserable frickers have to insert politics into it like you do with everything else. frick you miserable people.

Now... Would the Yale folks ever think of doing anything like that for the icky Idaho flyover red state commoners?

They did the one thing that mattered: win the basketball game.
Mainstream Yale beats right-leaning Auburn in hoops; Univ of Idaho admirably furnishes a shadow Yale band.

It’s amazing how much you guys make up in your heads.

This is correct.

They really would have been extra miserable had Yale invited Southern or another HBCU band to stand in.

Except time and time again, it's proven these DEI types have agendas and are disgusting people.
