Was about to say that - I was a junior at LSU when he jumped ship, everybody was stunned.

Craig Bohl NDSU to Wyoming

Nah. Believe it or not, Wyoming has fielded some decent teams before. They were pretty dry prior to Bohl accepting the position in Laramie. I see no reason why Wyoming couldn't have moderate success in the MWC. It'll just take some time.

ETA: I'm going to spin the topic just a bit to "worst moves by universities?" Nebraska's canning Frank Solich after a 10-3 season for Bill Callahan.

Ruin must not me to me what it means to the OP. Far too many fans don't get what sports is really about. It's a profession for coaches. A profession is first, second, and third all about an income. Sumlin has succeeded very well there. Plus he beat Saban and had a heisman winning qb. He's also put many players into the NFL. Ruin doesn't mean what it used to mean.

Who knows what Spurrier might have accomplished if he stayed at Florida.

Curry never beat Auburn.. he was never really truly accepted by Alabama fans it seemed like and not just for his inability to beat Auburn.

Could be wrong about that but tell me this.. How many other Bama coaches had a brick thrown through their office window?

Boise St for Colorado

Boise wasn't at their peak yet. CU had been successful until his hiring.

While I agree that at the time Colorado was still a big name program, you are wrong about Boise. They were just as good under Hawkins as they were with Peterson. Dinwiddie was easily a better qb than zabransky and probably just as good as Keller Moore.
