Same.

I think the Royals win tonight, but the Mets win the next four.

4-1 Mets.

ETA: Oh come on, the (NL) was a funny subtle troll

Frick the Royals, but I think they win in 5 because it's so hard to ever put them away with the way they handle the plate and they have such a big advantage after inning six with the pen.

Uh, dumb question for someone who has only been following the Mets for a few weeks, but has been aware of the Harvey drama...why wouldn't they open with DeGrom?

I am excited for this series. Two young teams, some fantastic pitching, and two fanbases that should be amped for World Series play.

Not rooting for either team really, just hoping for a fun, exciting series

I assumed deGrom would open too, but I guess since he pitched more recently they decided to go with Harvey. They are pretty similar in talent and both will pitch twice regardless.

There may be an actual reason other than that, but I haven't heard anything, nor could I think of any other reason.

Same. Tough for me to bet against the Mets right now though with how hot they've been at the plate and their staff.

I say Mets in 6

30 years ago today, the Royal won game 7 over St. Louis. KC was down 3 games to 1 against both the Cardinals and Blue Jays that post season.

I have been told that I am not allowed to talk during the game and there will be no vodka before, during, and after the game.

So when she asks any question I am just going to give her the stoopid face

Looks like they'll be some wet conditions for the game. Field will be wet, and they might play through a light rain or mist.
