A pop up? That ball was crushed. Made the warning track on a cold and rainy night. Throwing first pitch fastball to Escobar is absolutely retarded right now.

Regardless, it should have been an out and not a inside the park homerun

It should've been an easy out, so I'm not sure why anyone would be mad at Harvey

Hosmer was on with Le Batard yesterday and he guaranteed that Escobar would swing at the first pitch no matter what

I'm just saying that ball was crushed and if it was pulled a bit more, it was gone. It was a bad pitch.

It should have been an out, but it was still a bad pitch.

Absolutely.

That's a 4-base error. And if it's not, then it should have been a double and a 2-base error. Dude kicked the ball 70 feet into left field.

Yep. The whole world knew Escobar was swinging first pitch. To throw a fastball down the middle was asinine

Yep. It was a terrible stupid fricktard pitch and an awful play in center. They are both to blame

If he was so fast he'd have had no problem getting to that ball. Oh wait, he didn't he show-boated.
