With Durant likely out "for months" the West is wide open for CC to win

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, members of Durant's inner circle are "bracing for tough news" and "fear is he's out months, not weeks."
Clutch City just found their opening. Now all we need to do is shoot our way through.

Good job posting this after the news that he'll be back for the playoffs just broke.

Even bigger window when you consider how well D'Antoni has done against Pop!
Oh wait...

You're not accounting for the fact that Durant is a baby back bitch.

god man what if he's out for the playoffs and they win it all, and for the rest of his time at GS they don't win another? that would be hilarious for legacy arguments

That would be the ultimate WTF scenario.

I mean I don't root for injuries, but I would get a lot amusement if Durant misses the playoffs and the Cavs beat the Warriors again in the Finals. Hearing the Durant injury excuse would be glorious after the 2015 Finals.

I love where your head's at, but did you watch the Pacers game the other day? Physical teams like that will give us fits in the playoffs.

Ewing theory would become Ewing Fact.
