I think he does. Deandre Jordan next year definitely decides if he will do it with the clippers or not. The thing about Paul's game is that he could play forever if he wanted to with his mid range, hustle, and view of the court.

so is CP3 suppose to score 50 points a game or what? cause that's what it would have taken. him and Griffin carried that team. all they needed was a little bit of help and they didn't get it.

50? Nah. Look at what Rivers and Redick did in the first 4 games while terry was guarding them. HOU had to pick someone on the Clips to put their worst defender on and they chose Paul in games 5, 6, and 7. 3 losses for LA. Just didn't make enough plays.

A couple midrange jumpers when you're down 15 to get it to 13 are nice yeah but those aren't the plays that will win series. Where was the 3 point play when HOU was making a run? Where were the steals? He was never good enough to make HOU change up what they were doing from game 5 on.

and he made enough plays in the other 2 games? did rivers and redick win those two games or what? lets not try and act like its was all on CP3 on these losses. hell if the whole team didn't collapse in game 6 we wouldn't even be having this discussion in the first place.

and I also think that 26/10/5 should be enough to win but like I said he didn't get help. rivers and redick and barnes had good looks but they just couldn't knock em down.

Yea let's focus on the 5th most important player on the roster
Your team just won 3 straight games thanks to their 5th ish most important players, they were the difference.

Oh he had a bad series shooting?
Bad series, bad playoffs, bad season, yes he was awful shooting the ball.

Yea no crap HOU put their better defenders on Crawford and put the grandpa on Paul and said hey Paul beat us if you can.
Weren't you giving McHale props for putting Ariza on Paul just recently, I believe yesterday even lol.

Nope. Try again. Mchale took ArIza off of Paul and put him on guys that could do more damage then Paul.

Agreed. Their offense was much scarier when they were feeding Blake in the first couple games. If you remember correctly their offensive efficiency increased last year when Paul was out for those 18 games.

Their offense is 21.5(per 82games, 20.9 per BRef) points better per 100 possessions when Paul is in the game, compared to out.

Pretty sure(not 100%) that's the highest on/off differential in the entire league.

Proof is in pudding. When rivers and redick got going HOU was in trouble. So put ArIza on redick and let try Paul beat you with midrange jumpers instead of those guys hitting 3s. Mchale wins. ArIza wins. Redick loses. Paul loses.

Yea, I just gave you the numbers, that's your proof. +9 last season as well, but I know that won't stop you from thinking they get better without him.

So you're saying Chris Paul by himself can't beat a team as good as HOU? Not really surprising, HOU is good.

Not to mention, HOU's change in offense with the role players was the biggest difference maker.

As for the OP:

LAC, in game 7 of the 2nd round of the playoffs, just gave 18% of all available minutes to players who are below replacement level, so it's definitely an uphill climb.

Not sure what you're talking about.

My posts haven't changed one bit from yesterday to when the Clippers were up 3-1, Boom and I were basically literally having the same exact back and forths when just about everyone thought LAC was advancing.

It must be the most lukewarmiest of meltdowns ever.

What's changed? You can laugh but you can't point out any difference in my posting habits, I'm certain of that.

Like I said, I'm having the same back and forths with Boom I've had for almost 2 weeks now, not sure why you're seeing something that isn't there. That's on you, not me.
