Cavs barely swept Detroit so I doubt they sweep Atlanta.
A hurt Cavs squad completely picked apart the best Hawks team of the last 15 years

For as much crap as Westbrook gets about hogging the ball, he makes that team go. I thought it was a brilliant move by pop to put Kawhi on Westbrook.

Also, How about Danny blocking a KD 3?

Oh so other teams get their best season and CC gets their worse. Makes perfect sense.

Yeah not like Cleveland had to deal with injuries either right?

After saying that.. I'm predicting a 5 game series

Hey truth be told not many had Hawks in 6. And lots had Boston out right.

Green is ridiculous on defense. So underappreciated.

When he gets going from deep on the other end, though, it just ain't fricking fair.

Atlanta was completely depleted as well.

This team is built better for the playoffs and has healthy players to at least try and guard Lebron, unlike last year.

The cavs will almost definitely win the series, but I honestly won't be surprised at any outcome.

I could see Sefalosha giving LeBron a headache for a little while, but eventually the cream will rise to the top

Unlike last year it isn't just LeBron you have to worry about. The whole team is finally playing like a cohesive unit.

So Cleveland is healthy and we're healthy. That wasn't the case last year for either team. We'll see how the chips fall, but let's not act like it was only Cleveland that had injuries last year.

I honestly hope ATL gives the Cavs a scare tonight, to jump start them back into playoff mode. The rest time might have them too relaxed. Or they could come out firing? Hell, i never know what to think at the beginning of a series.

We can agree on two things. The playoffs fricking rule and here's to some good. injury free bball

No, it isn’t. In this hypothetical world the Rockets still have their major chemistry problems that caused this “down season”, but Memphis and Portland don’t trend downward and New Orleans actually has the season that people thought they would’ve.
So your argument is that if everyone was better except for HOU, then everyone would be better and not HOU?

So if you play your balls off in the West and earn the 3 seed, you get the chance to go get skullfricked by one of the best teams of the past decade in round 2.

If you do the same thing in the East, you get the Raptors.

frick. Who is the best single player Lebron has ever faced in an eastern conference playoff series? "MVP" Rose? Is that the high water mark?

Thabo, bazemore, and even millsap will all get possessions on Lebron. It's nice to have three different guys to throw at him. He will still be Lebron but it won't be as easy.

As for the other guy who said the Hawks have more than Lebron to worry about, meh. Kyrie will play well but he can't defend and we will be throwing two dangerous slashers at him. This series is all about Lebron, Hawks match up just fine everywhere else.

The league is screwed if Green plays every game like last game. He's the X factor that takes the Spurs offense up a notch. But he has not been consistent with his threes at all this year

Last week you said the Hawks couldn't beat any playoff team, which is it?
