Unless the ATL players start dropping like flies like they did last year against Cleveland, the Hawks aren't getting swept.

Because the Cavs weren't dropping like flies during the sweep last year. This is the next biggest mismatch next to OKC v Spurs. ATL just does not lineup well vs the Cavs. SWEEP

LeBron's teams have been known to lose a game 1 against less talented opponents before, only to win the next 4. You could argue that this Cavs team is playing just as well as anyone in the league right now.

I'd love to see this argument. The 8th seed Detroit Pistons were in almost every game in their series. Not only are they not playing the best basketball of anyone in the playoffs, they've actually looked vulnerable.

That 8th seed Pistons team has one of the best coaches in the east, would have won 2-3 games versus any other team in the east, and probably beat Memphis and Houston.

It was a sweep, you know Cavs and Spurs were the only teams to do that right?

Surprised you aren't still weeping about the Hawks beating the Celtics.

At this point, I think the Cavs win in 5, and the Spurs win in 6. OKC won't win in SA, but they could easily win games 3 and 4. The Hawks have zero chance in this series.

Why would I care? Both teams get the same end result

I wouldn't be surprised if we were swept or if we steal a couple games. We are playing better this year at this point than last year. I also think Humphries will be something off the bench that we didn't have last year. It's all going to depend on how well we shoot the three.

Yet, they lost every one. Does it matter how much you win by if you sweep your opponent?

I said they're playing JUST AS GOOD, not the best of anyone. And for that statement, I'll stick by it. The Spurs have looked better, against lesser opponents; OKC was down 23 at the end of the 1st. I'd be hard pressed not to pick LeBron vs. anyone right now

Edit: for the record, I think the Cavs would prefer to play Steph and GS over SA. The Spurs are just too consistent

Heart says Hawks in 6, brain says Cavs in 5-6.

But, you never know.

Sorry, but Cleveland's lackluster performances against Detroit does not put them in the same category as Golden State or the Spurs. Both of those teams are playing at a different level currently.

The Cleveland Cavaliers won't start their Eastern Conference Semifinals series until Monday night but one prominent NBA analyst has seen all that he needs to see to make a rather bold prediction about LeBron James and company.

"I don't think the Cavaliers are going to lose a game in the entire Eastern Conference," NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley said, according to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal.

wut? You realize the worst team in the playoffs won a game against the Warriors? How is a sweep lackluster? That series the Cavs actually looked better than they have since the all-star break. Also I would take any team in the playoffs left against Portland. My goodness some of you are just helpless.

Being the best team in the East by far does not mean they are in the same category as the Spurriors.

Charles isnt the only one saying that. Many other pundits have the Cavs going toe to toe versus whoever comes out the west, based off the series sweep they just had.

I didn't say that. But having LeBron makes you as big a contender as anyone

They won each game by an average of 8.5 points against better competition that was playing over their own heads for 2 of the 4 games. There's nothing lackluster about that.

A sweep isn't lackluster. But those games weren't blowouts against the pistons. Lebron never played less than 40 minutes a game and averaged 42 minutes. That is a lot of minutes.

I don't deny that the Cavs are the favorites in the East by far. But the WCF is basically the NBA finals.

So the Warriors are going to sweep the Cavs?

Ha, no.

The King is the King for a reason, don't act like you're ignorant. Need we remind you how tough he played the Warriors with Tristan as his second best player?
