I thought Mendoza was mediocre. But anyone who doesnt realize she's thousands of times better than Kruk has zero credibility in this discussion.
Like most national announcers she was prone to making shite up on the fly (Tim McCarver is the worst) and she relied on cliches too much. Maybe she'll get better with experience, but even if she doesnt she's already far better than Kruk will ever be. Kruk is captain obvious out there and has the vocabulary of a 12 year old.
And yes, it was clear that Archer was the most insightful analyst in that both.
And I'm not sure how anyone still thinks that being an ex-player is the most important quality for an analyst.
Morgan, Kruk, Sutcliffe, Harrelson, Reynolds are all atrocious.
