I think he is definitely more likable from an average fan that is not a hometown fan for any of these teams. I can't quite put my finger on why.

What do you think?

He was hated most of his career. People have finally come around to understand him and appreciate the energy he plays with every night.

Also, people are drawn to the underdog, which he has been this season. He was made out to be the guy who stuck by his small market franchise and is holding up an entire city with his play.

Bc he scowls so people think he plays harder than those with a more natural countenance. Also bc of his athleticism.

Pretty much all of this. He plays hard every game from what I can tell. I don't have a problem with Harden I just don't want him to win the MVP so the rocketard fans on here melt like ice in the oven. Lebron is a great player I don't hate him but he has done some whack crap. The decision and the flopping at his size is freaking stupid as well.

His fake tough guy act wears on me bad.

I cant stand any of the 3 players. But sadly ESPN and the NBA only cares about these 3 and maybe a couple of more players.

Honestly the NBA is hard to watch because of these guys.

Second time in a little over a week that the guy who made up sob stories for Internet attention from strangers is calling a professional athlete a crybaby

Lebron is unlikeable to a lot because he's closer to Jordan's legacy than any player has ever come, and that bothers a lot of people who have rooted against him from the start because of his hype- they will give many different reasons but the reasons are all really just excuses to justify the already preconceived bias they have against him.

Harden has a bad reputation for a lot of the buzzwords that people use who don't like the NBA "doesn't play defense, superstar calls, ISO hero ball". Casual fans don't realize his defense has improved greatly this year, and he's been one of the best at setting up his teammates. I think some still dislike him based on reputation, which is unfair. Also this is a Louisiana heavy board, which has a lot of anti Houston bias that makes it seem like Harden is disliked more than he might actually be nationally. Then there's Boom, he's a pretty big reason.

Westbrook has always been awesome. That dude was my 2nd favorite player in the league 5-6 years ago when it wasn't cool to like him.

I don't really find Harden to be unlikable but I can see where neutral fans would not find his style of play to be that exciting.

I used to hate hate hate Lebron but I was pulling for him last year against the Warriors like he was on the Lakers or something.

Same. Used to hate him and felt like he was holding back OKC and did shite consistently to undermine Durant. I respect him riding and dying with OKC though this year and having that me against the world mentality. He's the man.

I was never a Westbrook fan-- then I saw Boom, and his behavior. Nothing makes a Westbrook fan faster, than people like Boom.

Na, I really like the NBA and think that Harden is talented. I just think that it's a shame that he often times doesn't use that talent, and relies instead on goading defenders into cheap fouls (fouls in which he isn't attempting to score or even perform a basketball maneuver). It isn't an enjoyable play style to watch, and it sucks that he relies on it so much because he has the talent to be an entertaining player.

Love those that act like any ol' Jonny-D-leaguer could become a max contract player if only he was willing to draw fouls and get to the line instead of shooting mid range jumpers.

Harden draws fouls better than anyone else bc his braking system is the best in the NBA. And you are saying he doesn't use his talent. Lol. His best talent is using the momentum of the defender against them. Defender quite literally can't help themself from fouling him. He uses change of pace at an all time great level.
