He is not as bad as Jessie Palmer or David Pollack but he is not very good.

ESPN really has no talent on the college football side. I stopped watching GameDay when it went to 3 hours, it is a one hour show. Now College Football Final will be unwatchable.

He's awesome with Russillo. He's gonna make that show so college football centered.

This.

Gameday was once a great show. Now its completely over saturated and bloated. No need for it to be as long as it is. I also think the Rinaldi pieces kill the mojo. Nothing worse than settling in for a relaxing Saturday after long week of work only to have to sit through a story of an 8 year old girl battling cancer.

College Football Final is going to suck.

Oh this thread again

People complaining about Kanell and ESPN...well that means you are watching it. Stop watching if it bothers you.

I don't watch ESPN anymore outside of actual games and a radio show here and there. The new troll media isn't my cup of tea. It's not that it gets me all worked up, it just doesn't appeal to me. They are doing their jobs. Their jobs are to push a few buttons. Apparently that strategy works.

He is very entertaining. Doesn't troll so obvious that it isn't funny...keeps the trolling at a respectable level. Brings a decent amount of credibility with his playing days...and some of those stories are hilarious.

Excellent personality IMO...regardless of who he trolls.

I think they're great when they cover CFB and NFL, but I can't stand kanell when he talks NBA or other sports. I just hope he lets Rusillo do all the talking when it comes to NBA season

The only reason people hate him is bc he went to FSU and it's the cool thing to hate FSU right now.

I've never really hated Kanell so I guess I just didn't get the disdain. I can see how it would be easy to fall into the trolling the SEC game since so many people in Alabama are stupid.

I'd prefer to have Dari Nowkah permanently replace SVP but that's just too good for ESPN to consider.

He is good at what he does - the host of 30 minute college football shows. He doesn't need to be on the radio discussing various topics for a couple of hours.

Kannell is actually solid when talking other sports, not just football. I think he and Ryen are a good fit.

Kanell is solid too. i dont know what you look for in these guys, exactly.

College football final is centered around highlights with small segments from the personalities

The small segments with May, Davis and Holtz were terrible and that won't change. College Football Final is the only non live game aspect of ESPN that is good.

Seriously. People are like "we need more of Adnan or Reese Davis!!!" Guess what, mates: They are hosts. Analysts are the ones who give their opinions. That's what they are supposed to do.

exactly. and people will hate on Palmer cause he is a pretty boy, but you can tell the guy works hard at his job. Ive heard him do LSU games before and mention players that most analysts dont even know exist. It's like people only see what is on the surface.

as for Kanell, look, his SEC troll shite was blatant & pathetic, but in between that, the guy is really knowledgeable & likable.

The real question is just how awful is Joe Tessitore? He is a Gus Johnson wannabe.
