Grates me when anyone in the says it. We have some local scrubs that are just the worst, and I'm certain they don't know his last name is Manziel.

I don't care how much fun he has in his free time.

On the field, he has acted like a douchebag and been immature and disrespectful, especially his first season. It got better. I never hated him for it.

But you can't deny he's acted like a douche at times on the field. And it wasn't just "having fun, living the dream" he was being a douche.

This. He's just a douche bag. Good for him for getting to be a millionaire. Doesn't change the fact that he's a giant douche bag. If he was an LSU player I'd feel the same way.

I don't hate him. The only sports figure who I hate irrationally is Lebron. frick you, Lebron.

But he is a douche. Can't we all just agree on that and move on?

I don't hate him, but I think his fanboys are the absolute worst. 10x worse than Lebrons

But I do think he's a douche and is a Bernie Kosher 2.0 with substance abuse issues in his future

Plus I think he struggles bigtime in the NFL. Look at what the LSU D did to him the two times they played. I would venture to say that the NFL has a little better D than LSU had.

It seems that people like to accuse others of "hating" their favorite players when they point out those players' flaws or simply don't worship them.

It's amazing how much people care about and defend athletes and other celebrities, while athletes/celebrities couldn't care less about these same people.

He seems like very douchey trust fund baby you've ever met. Other than that, I've got no problem with the guy. I'm sure I'd dislike him personally if I met him, but he is a fantastic football player who I enjoyed watching.

I actually liked the guy.

Then he showed up at Bieber's house. You can't recover from that. I can't defend him anymore.

Most of the hate for guys like manziel and lebron is due to over saturation. When the media pushes a certain person so hard for so long, people get tired of it.

I don't like him for the simple reason that he risked throwing his aggie teammates under the bus had it been proven he did take $$$ for his signature. He would have been suspended at least one game if not more & the whole aggie season could have gone down the tubes because this rich kid was greedy & selfish. And he did take it, don't kid yourself.

I think it was on SVP where they were talking about his comment, something like "I work 5 days a week, my weekend is when I need to unwind", or something like that. RR was like "nope, not in the NFL, this is a lifestyle if you want to make it, all day, every day". He could possibly succeed, but he isn't getting off to a good start. Not enough "want".

Especially at QB...

I expect him to last no more than five years. He's undersized and I don't think he will have the durability. I still think he was doin the cocaine when that picture showed him with a rolled up one dollar bill
