why does wisconsin have an entire endzone empty?

I know its an 11am game but its a rivalry game. Is there something I'm missing?

If I remember correctly, it tends to fill up as the game goes on. They have an issue getting students to noon games

Yeah Oktoberfest started yesterday and I guarantee you theyre blitzed. German oompah bands + chicks + beer + Friday night is better than 11am football.

Wisconsin students are the reverse of LSU. the high point of their game is jump around. So they show up at the end for that, but don't bother to come for the start.

It's not their fault they have these shitty 11am kickoffs - LSU students would suck for those too

It's the 11 am start, and the way they seat the students. They fill them in as they get there from the bottom up. The older alums, like me, will consistently lament the shitty student attendance at kickoff. But, it supposedly does take longer to get in now for some reason, and when I went we had assigned seats so the empties weren't so obvious, but I do think we filled it a hell of a lot more for kickoff, and were still able to get sufficiently fricked up before.

This game is fricking terrible. I've been drinking but that's not making it any better.
