Hell a lot of SEC and major college teams have better locker rooms than the Chiefs. Been in the Chiefs locker room, nothing fancy. Like you said Big time Div 1 schools have to recruit, so they make their facilities very nice.

Same with the Superdome. The Saint's lockerroom is nice, but is nothing compared to the LSU locker room in Tiger Stadium. IPFs are more useful in recruiting than they are in anything else. The NFL owners don't have to worry about that so some can get by without building one.

and I remember when one of these collapsed in Dallas a couple years ago and might've even killed a guy

Didn't kill anyone, the most severe hurt was actually my cousin Rich who was part of the scout team. He became paralyzed from the accident but he's doing much better. His brother Chris runs the Cowboys Media Dept.

I'm actually waiting for the days when the NFL will have to start spending to attract quality free agents, the only real recruiting process of pro sports. NBA & MLB have been doing it for years now with updating club houses/locker rooms as well as workout & practice facilities.

Players have been getting serious facilities at the college level for the last 2 decades now, far more in the last 5-8 years of the Power 5 "arms race" & it's trickled down to smaller conferences & even in the top 10 of the FCS. Sooner or later, these guys are going to want better facilities, not just big contracts.

A lot of talk about colleges having indoor practice facilities, but Dallas used a high school's facility after their bubble collapsed. One of the wealthiest pro franchises in the world has to use a high school's facilities is ridiculous.

At the end of the day, all you need is a field and a locker room. So, why does it matter if the Cowboys used a high school facility?

Because players hate them due to the artificial grass required, hell on their joints.

I think NE has a bubble they never use, the Redskins bubble deflated last year

Damn for comedic purposes it would have been better if NEs bubble was deflated
