Why didn't Adrian Peterson sign with Texas?

I know they were amazing in '05. I can't even imagine how ridiculous they would be with VY, AP, & Jamaal Charles.

One year AD went on a recruiting visit to the Texas-OU game and I believe there were problems in the Texas locker room or something like that. Can't remember all the details but I'll try and find them.

When did Bomar go to OU?

There was a dealership out of Tulsa whose commercial started "OU wins with Texans, you can win with our deals"

Was the dealership Big Red Sports and Imports? The one that got Bomar dismissed from OU?

No that's in OKC I thought. This one was in T-Town. It was always on KTUL and Channel 2.

Not sure and don't care... BUT why isn't TEXAS getting the top notch players they used to get... I mean I am talking TEXAS in Austin.... I just don't get what happened...

I imagine there were problems in the Texas locker room since they lost 65-13.

There are like 9 FBS teams in Texas plus OU and LSU right next door.

Not every great player wants to go to Texas.
