I’ll promise you one thing, if he played for the team with the best record in the AL, you wouldn’t be seeing these.

When you can see someone move within 13 homers of breaking the record you have to see that.

Because ESPN wants us to erase the McGuire, Sosa, and Bonds era because of PEDs even though plenty of players in professional sports do PEDs.

He is breaking/tying the AL record with 61 & yes they are trying to celebrate a young player like him instead of the “others” (Bonds, McGuire, Sosa).

Anyone notice we had ZERO live cut-ins during the Cowboys-Giants Monday night?

During college football don't like it

On a random Wednesday night go for it

I know they are promoting game but your less than a week left and only 83% of record.

And that only becomes important if you want to pretend the actual record doesn't exist.

No, he’s not. Even if he hits one, he’ll just be tied with Maris.

Because MUH YANKEES.

And that's it. That's the ONLY reason.

If a Pittsburgh Pirate was about to hit his 61st home run, do you think they'd be cutting into live broadcasts?

Nope because the NL record isn’t 61.
