Consider this. Defense is his calling card and his squad was better defensively last season when he was on the bench than when he was playing.
Why would you consider that? You don't concern yourself with the "off" or so you told us.

You are confusing criteria for what player is most deserving of an award vs what player is the best. Not the same arguments.

When did you start paying attention to Curry? He averaged a lot of assist back when Mark Jackson was the coach. Before KD Before Draymond was even a key rotation guy before Klay had his break out year.

If anything his APG numbers hsve dropped since the arrival of their new offense

I don't care what his assist numbers are. I know what a PG is capable of in that system and Kyrie would be more than capable of facilitating. Or he'd average 30 a night.

So because you feel that way it is automatically true? Are you the same guy who said Harden was better than Bird?

Kyrie plays too much iso/hero ball and relies on his athleticism too much. This is stopping him from developing any passing game. He is also a massive liability on defense.

Curry, on the other hand, is also an elite scorer, but is a compenent playmaker and passer as well. He is also less of a liability on the defensive end.

Curry all day over Kyrie.
