Matthew Stafford?
You're regressing.

Designed may have been the incorrect term, my apologies, but it was Moss that 'revolutionized' that defensive scheme.

I think Rice has the right to be called the greatest, although I think he hung on a little too long and inflated his numbers.
How do you inflate numbers?

Hell, Green Bay took three defensive backs with their first three picks in 1999 with the single hope of matching Moss.

Rice
Moss
Johnson
I might take Irvin over Johnson.
And TO very much belongs in a conversation of greatest receivers. He was incredible, and if he wasn't such an arse he would have been loved by many.

Pass yards, great. I would hope he's putting up yards when he is breaking NFL records for pass attempts.
Meanwhile his completion percentage is fluctuating, his interceptions up, and his touchdown passes are down.

Hold on, I'll respond when I get through laughing at your assertion that Calvin doesn't make anyone better.

How good would Moss have been with Steve Young or Montana or Brady throwing him the ball his whole career?

The position Stafford won't be a better QB the second half of the season because Megatron is back is hilarious.

The assertion that ANY, and I repeat ANY, QB won't be better with Calvin Johnson is hilarious.

Was speaking terms over the course of his career. Stafford absolutely has been regressing over the past couple seasons. It's not solely the responsibility of Calvin because he has been tremendous. He certainly helps Matthew Stafford to a large extent. I just can't buy the argument that Calvin makes quarterbacks better to the extent of a Randy Moss.
Complete overreaction on my part saying he doesn't make anyone better. Just got a little too much in the zone and defensive. But I absolutely do not think Calvin makes QBs better to the extent Moss does.

Ok. Even in defensive mode, that's some dumb shite. Top 5 WR of all time doesn't make anyone better.
ETA: But it is refreshing to see someone admit they were wrong. It's very difficult for people to do, even to anonymous people on the internet.

I think he held on probably longer then he should have and when he was no longer being productive.
I might be remembering wrong but I think the end to his career was being cut by Seattle.
Just like Emmitt Smith held on way t0o long.

Rice last season he played with Sea and Oak. 30/429/3. Lots of inflation there. Previous year he had a respectable year 63/869/2. Trying to understand the reasoning that he hung on too long.

I would take megatron all things equal

The answer is Jerry Rice. If you play Backyard Football, then Jerry Rice's TD celebration is opening up a record book and erasing it and re-writing the record.
