Khan or Thurman

Then he'll retire for a year or two and come back to fight for the middleweight title and try to get to 50-0.

Why do you think he'll retire for a year or two? Maybe to wait for Golovkin to move up to 168 so he could avoid him or some other reason?

His fight in September will be the last on his current deal with Showtime. Now Floyd is a businessman so it would make sense for him to make a business move here.

Sit out for a while and then announce a comeback and let the networks engage in a bidding war to carry the fight. The middleweight title is one of the most sacred belts in boxing history. It's got the greatest history along with the heavyweight belt. There is no doubt that Floyd wants that title and that 50-0 record.

And Mayweather will never fight someone like Golovkin. Cotto is THE champ at middleweight right now and he wants nothing to do with GGG.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Floyd rematch Canelo if he ever ends up with the belt. A Cotto rematch is possible as well but he'll have to drop the belts before long if he doesn't fight GGG.

Can someone give me a quick rundown of how the middleweight belt has changed hands over the last 5 or so years?

Can we quit the Floyd is dodging narrative? Dude fought every big name in his era within 5 weight classes.

Pac
Maidana
Canelo
Guerrero
Cotto
Ortiz
Mosley
Marquez
Hatton
DLH
Baldomir
Judah
Gatti
Chop chop
Castillo
Corrales

The fact is he perfected a style that allows him to hit and not be hit. Say what you want about him as a person but in the ring he's so dominant and consistent he makes great fighters look average.

Everybody is a "beast" before they fight May. Then when he makes them look average there are excuses made about it.

Just because you fight someone doesn't mean you ducked them at some point. Not fighting someone in their prime and fighting them years later doesn't mean shite

Fight being a very loose term for what he does.

Finally someone speaks the truth. He's a joke who doesn't even belong in the conversation of best of
all-time. His peers don't respect him; he was way down their list of best fighter since WWII.
