LeBron/Durant and Curry/Kyrie are a wash.

Klay/KLove different positions and skillset but bring a similar level of contribution on both ends.

Draymond allows the Warriors to skip the outlet pass and get out in transition so much faster than any team before.

The bench could use work. Kyle Korver is an example of a shooter who isn't a shot maker. Deron Williams and RJ are both effort guys but can't really help push a team over the edge.

I think the addition of a big man who leads the break and a scoring specialist off the bench would do a lot for the Cavs. Nikola Jokic and Lou Williams type guys. Or they could just maintain the core, bolster the bench with young talent, and wait for the Warriors to play out of their contracts.

Love and Klay contribute similarly on defense?

I understand the logic, I thought for a while that that was the logical answer too. But I don't think that makes up 3 games vs GS. Take away Love's rebounding and replace it with George's O and D and your still not winning 1-2 games in GS in the finals, which is what it comes down to.

Klay defends more positions and disrupts but but does not bring the rebounding or size K Love does. The man had 21 boards in game 1.

Klay is a much, much better defensive player than Love.

They need some better bench pieces, but you are underestimating Paul George big time. The Cavs don't have enough two way players. That rebounding don't mean dick when you can't defend the Warriors. Love has been benched multiple times in the past three years against this team. That would never happen with PG.

Doesn't matter who they pickup the Best player in the NBA is in Golden State.

This is technically correct at this very moment.

That's your opinion. I don't really care other than to make the point that the matchup isn't won or lost between those players. The cavs have to make up ground in the transition game and find a consistent threat to score off the bench.

Who can? No one in the world could've defended Durant in this series honestly. I'm agreeing adding George would be huge, but adding him without losing your core gives the Cavs a better chance of being put over there top.

Congrats bro. You've done nothing to add to the convo but rush to nitpick 1 fringe point out of a post directed at the subject. They're a wash. The cavs aren't winning or losing the series because of Klay or Love.

They need another ball handler, another backup center and more length and youth on the wing

They need to fix their defense. Shells Cavs were 22nd in the regular season and allowed 122 PPG in these finals. Granted, it was against a historic offense, but still.

Their offense is championship caliber IMHO..

Irving/Lebron is only slightly worse thaan Durant/Curry... but Thompson/Iguodala/Green >>> Love/Smith/Shumpert/Thompson

The offense is championship caliber because of Lebron. They need more three and D players. In a perfect world, they would send everyone packing besides Lebron and Irving and being in only 3/D type players. You don't have to find a way to defend Durant. Just find a way to defend everyone else.

Need another guy that is able to score the basketball off the dribble. The catch and shoot guys are too streaky.

JR was feeling it tonight but LeBron wouldn't send the basketball his way enough
