Who could the cavs get that would match the talent of GS.

Literally nothing realistically can do that.

They would have to trade Love and get back someone like Hayward, George, or Butler.

Love is probably the best player any of those teams would get in return in a trade.

The Cavs should make a trade centered around Love for George. It's probably a 1 year rental but Lebron is a free agent after next year too. You can let PG guard Durant and he can shoulder load offensively. It's the only answer.

Last thing they need is another scorer with limited defense.

Unfortunately, there just aren't very many great perimeter defenders in the league right now.

George could opt for the min. He then would be eligible for the 250Mil max in 2019. Cousins to Cleveland for Love and Thompson. Simple as that folks.

Actually I do not think from a talent standpoint it is that far off. GS just plays better as a team. Of the big names

Lebron better than Durant
Curry = Kyrie
Love = Klay (this is tough one)
Green over Triston

I thought about that, but remove love and replace him with George, do you really add enough scoring, rebounding to be+3 games better then GS? I think you have to find a way to add to the current starting 5

George and Cousins makes the most sense. The only problem is they might be 1 year rentals.

Trade Tristan Kardashian to Clippers for Blake Griffin. Slide Kyrie over to the 2 guard and try to get CP3 somehow. I think Lebron would take less $$$ to play with Chris. I would keep Kevin Love.

Paul George is a better offensive player than Love and way better in defense. The Cavs should trade Love for George immediately. Someone that can guard several positions like George would be huge coupled with him being able to create his own shot.

Paul George, Hassan Whiteside, and James Harden.

Give them a special allowance to go over the cap, because Lebron.
