The Warriors, for one. That offense relies on shooters spreading the floor. Klay is happy not dribbling.

Kyrie, for two. He wants to be the main ball handler. The main reason he demanded the trade.

The Warriors due to the massive disparity in perimeter defense

WTF, this would be a downgrade on so many levels for State.

And that does not mean KT is better than Kyrie at all.

Klay wants out, he gets to go be lebron's robin for a year.

kyrie goes to a place where he can be a creator and a shooter. Kyrie is used to playing off ball to lebron being pg, no different than sharing ball handling duties with stephen. warriors like kyrie bc he's a streaky shooter as well killer creator and ball handler getting to rim at will.

I would enjoy watching him play. But that team will be so disappointed when they aren't very good.

Golden State would get another year of an underpaid star if they did the deal. So it could be worth it.

They would then have Irving and Green locked up on cheap deals for three years. Thompson only has two years left on his cheap deal.

I doubt the two teams are going to make a deal though with each other during this season because of the last three finals.

Golden State would still win the championship if Thompson was replaced by Irving.

The whole point of demanding this trade is because Kyrie wants a bigger role... this makes his role even smaller.

link?

kyrie wants out bc he knows lebron is out the door. kyrie has leverage and value now, not next year when left in the dust.

The request came last week and was made to Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert. Irving has expressed that he wants to play in a situation where he can be more of a focal point and that he no longer wants to play alongside LeBron James, sources said.

I mean this whole discussion of Kyrie being traded is off an article on ESPN titled "Kyrie Irving requesting trade out of Cleveland to find bigger role"

ETA: Hell you even posted in the thread that has the link to the damn article and you're sitting here asking for a link like that poster made that up.
