I worked the 1986 PGA Championship as a standard bearer and met several players that year. I have also been to several PGA tournaments by attending the World Series at Firestone and The Memorial at Murfield.
Some the of the new players on tour, I have not met, but here is my list of players I meet.
Cool:
Fred Couples
Davis Love III
Nick Faldo
Peter Jacobsen - Gave me a sandwich and drink during the last round of the 1986 PGA Championship
Ray Floyd - Gave me his golf ball that day
Arnold Palmer - Allowed me to take several pictures with him
Tom Kite - Also allowed to take several pictures as well.
Rocco Mediate
Hal Sutton - Gave me a great Iron Play Tip.
Jay Haas
Mark O'Meara - Great Guy
Curtis Strange - A lot do not like him, but was cool with me.
Tom Purtzer
Jose Maria Olazabal
John Daly
Tom Lehman

Lee Trevino - Douche Bag, especially to the kids.

Vijay Singh- treats women like shite(cultural behavior), to the point that Byron Nelson had to tell him to straighten his arse up when attending his tourney, just a couple of years before he passed.
Sergio Garcia- had person assigned to him as an aid during the Nelson, as all the pros did, and had them running to do errands at 1-2 a.m.(booze). Also trashed his rental residence in 5 days.

I have talked several times to most of them, had dinner with 5 or 6, talked to two this week, have interviewed all of them except Watson and Trevino. How about you!
I will add the Faldo is a great guy and one of the absolute biggest douches is Woosnam. Also, David Toms is really cool. Have talked to him at the Masters played with him in a scramble, etc.

I'd say Sabbatini, but at the US Open practice round Zach Johnson signed one kids hat, and he was walking down the line with it as he signed it bypassing everyone else, and as soon as he finished signing it he just threw it over his shoulder into the crowd. The kid must have been like 8 or 9 and was bawling his eyes out until someone gave him his hat back.

I worked several tournaments most recently the Zurich and FedEx St. Jude on the tourny staff
i have met many players and Phil is a HUGE A-HOLE, he doesnt like to sign autographs for fans..... even kids who had cancer

He signs autographs plenty of times. Just because you didn't see him signing when you were working doesn't mean he doesn't do it.
Also, he hasn't played in NOLA since 2006, and he hasn't played in Memphis in at least the last 2 years.

I've been to several tounaments, Open's, Ryder Cup's and I can't say I've seen any of the pro's acting like douchebags.
