Todd Blackledge is real good, plus he's partnered with one of my favorite pbp men, Brad Nessler.

Pretty good

or Gary Danielson

total idiot but I love his commentary when he still can't get the call right after 5 slo-mo replays. He's like a one man comic routine.

"Uh, Verne...he looks out of bounds to me" (replay is on continuous loop to the audience of showing clearly in bounds.)

"I think Bama gets the ball back."

(Ruled in bounds)

"Wow, wow...that surprises me Verne, don't know what they were seeing."

Verne: "Maybe the replay."

Leftists cannot separate Schilling's off field opinions from his actual game analysis, which is A+.

Keith Olbermann is a total dink, blowhard, arrogant, elitist, buffoon… but as a sports broadcaster, he is excellent.

Rowdy Gaines - Swimming - knows the sport better than anyone and makes swimming as exciting as it can be by really getting into the races.

Bill Walton is the most entertaining.

Bill Raftery is real good and entertaining.

Reggie Miller is by far the worst though.

Disagree completely. While he isn't the best in the biz, Miller is easily the best out of his generation of basketball players that is now announcing (cwebb, grant hill, Steve smith, etc.). I have no clue why cbs/turner had grant hill on their lead team and not Reggie Miller.

Good shout out.

Yeah, he's really really good and actually really entertaining...he called the comeback down the stretch against France. "He's tightening up!"

I don't know how you see that shite from so far away with two tadpols in the pool going all out in water.

But alas, you hear him every 4 years unless you are a swimming nerd.

Reggie Miller get more openly mocked of color commentator that I know of. He is dreadful. He always seems like he has done zero research. He is constantly wrong about things. He can't even make up for that stuff by being entertaining like Chuck can.

I'm not a leftist, he's just a terrible color guy who loves to go on random tangents about nothing

I meant out of guys that were great basketball players and used that to get broadcast jobs that they probably didnt deserve.

Barry and Legler were journeymen who are better announcers than they were players.

I like Jon Barry a lot too.

JVG and Papi Lebatard are the two best people on television, seriously.

Do you know what Color Commentator is? Because that's not Verne or Musberger

Van Gundy, Raftery for basketball

Collinsworth, Danielson for football

Van Gundy and Hubie are top notch for NBA.

Black ledge, Danielson are great at college. I also like Speilman a lot.

Bilas and Rafftery for college ball.
