Tier 1:
1a) Cavs (tiebreaker: they have LeBron)
1b) Spurs

Tier 2:
3) Warriors
4) Thunder
5) Clippers

Tier 3:
6) Rockets

I was commenting on the absurdity of your Lawson comment, not the hilarity of the other one

Spurs, slight edge over the Cavaliers. Everyone else has a lot of ground to make up.

Do you not value assist and assists to turnovers ratio in a point guard?

Regardless, he is a great point guard. The difference between 4 and 15 really isn't much in this league. The Rockets took care of their glaring weakness. NBA fricked.

No I just realize that isn't the only damn thing to evaluate a PG on.

Yeah there really isn't much difference between Westbrook and Ty Lawson

He's good. Not great. The difference between 3 and 15 is like the difference between Westbrook and holiday. That's pretty big IMO.

I edited to 4 before your post. There is a big drop off after Curry/Paul/Westbrook. Wall is probably 4, but he's not in that first tier.

Dude there is a massive drop off from Wall, Irving, Conley, and Lillard to someone like Ty Lawson

Paul
Curry
Westbrook
Irving
Wall

There's your top 5.

So yeah, it's a HUGE difference.

Is it though? The drop-off to every other position is MUCH BIGGER.

Shooting guard? God knows who the 15th best is. Center? Yeesh.

A healthy Holiday is probably better than Lawson.

Healthy being the key word.

Yes.

ETA:
Gasol, Whiteside, Lopez, Jordan, Cousins, Drummond, Vucevic, Horford, Monroe, Kanter.... Is Bosh considered a center? Anyways, there's some decent centers. Certainly not as deep as the point guard position. But I don't think that makes your argument any stronger.

There is an enormous difference between Kyrie Irving and Ty Lawson.

It's amazing how much the MSB can underrated a player once he puts on a Rockets jersey. If LeBron was on Houston, he'd probably be out of most of y'all's Top 5 players.

Just because it isn't as large as the other positions doesn't mean it isn't still pretty big.

Sound like you just overrated a guy because he put on a Rockets jersey, and are now deflecting.

That literally has nothing do with that. Most rankings listed by actual sportswriters will have Lawson around 15th.

It was a fantastic move to pick him up for basically nothing and he is an upgrade over Beverley. He isn't a top 10 PG though.

That was predictable. Saw it coming when I typed it.
