You say if Griffin would've played those 15 games LAC would've won more regular season games while totally discounting the players that HOU had that missed games.
Here's some quick back of the napkin math for you:
Griffin win shares / 48 = .183
15 games missed at 35.2 MPG = 528 minutes
528/48= 11 48 minute games
11 * .183 = 2.02 Wins missed due to Griffin injury
Howard win shares / 48 = .140
41 games missed at 29.8 MPG = 1221.80 minutes
1222/48 = 25.46 48 minute games
25.46 * .140 = 3.57 wins missed due to Howard injury
D12s injury impacted HOUs win total MORE than Griffin did to LAC. And I didn't even add in Jones, Motiejunas, Beverly, etc. Never thought I'd have to use math to show that missing D12 for half the season carries more weight on season win total than 15 games of Griffin.
