I get it they have a high powered offense and score a lot of points. That's great. However they haven't played and beat anyone with a pulse. The only team they have beat with a winning record is 5-4 Texas Tech.

Im not sure I get the media's love affair with them.

Michigan State was ranked high preseason but seemed to drop due to their close call at Michigan.

Baylors last 4 games are brutal. TCU Oklahoma ok state and Texas

They will run the table and be in the playoff, but I am with you. They couldn't survive either the Big Ten or SEC conference schedules but they have to play the hand they're dealt.

If you think that's the only reason Michigan State has dropped then you have not watched them at all this year.

The high powered offense you mentioned.

They put up gaudy numbers precisely because they don't have a tough schedule. Not really many big games, so they have to get attention somehow. And the media falls for it, look at all these records they're breaking! Basically the media is stupid and exciting offenses are easy to promote to a casual fan

They'd be fine in the Big 10, and they'd win the SEC East. In the west they'd be right there with Bama and LSU.

I'm with ya, but given their last four games I don't think win more than two of them.

I'm with you, but if they run the table with the backup qb, I've got to give props. Also, this sort of thing makes me thankful that we have a playoff system in place.

Big 10 West and SEC East are both weaker than their Big XII schedule.

Maybe the West. In the East, Baylor is annually a three loss team, maybe more depending on who they play from the West.

Maybe, but I'm not so sure. They have zero defense. TCU would have a better shot than Baylor.

OK, I got it now. You were just fricking with us.

Not with an OOC schedule of SMU, Lamar, and Rice.

It also seems like you're forgetting that for every Maryland or Vanderbilt, there's an even more pathetic Kansas.

Love the way you big guys overlook your own cupcake OOC 's; those close games with the directional teams are real impressive wins.

Really? You need to take a hard look at our current and future OOC schedules. Baylor plays high school teams in comparison.
