CIT is the mid major only tournament.
I guess its plausible all the major teams want the V16. If you look at CBI history theres always major conf teams

I just think we weren't invited. That display yesterday was atrocious. Same shite happened three years ago with Johnnys first team. They deserved an NIT bid but lost by like 30 to florida in the SECT

I think that's why LSU turned it down. NIT wasn't making the decision to not invite Ben Simmons' team.

I mean, would Simmons playing in 1 NIT game do much for the tournament? Aren't all their TV deals and sponsorship deals worked out already?
Plus, ESPN no longer has a hand in selecting the teams.
I guess LSU going on the road with Simmons would sell out the arena for whatever team we played?

I think the Vegas 16 could end up being a decent tournament. I could see the power leagues flocking to that one
