Yes but that is more about how good a team is. Denver and seattle have always been tough places even when the teams were not as good.

best part about it is the skins and giants still have a chance to win the division NFC East is so trash this year, like how the west used to always be
If giants make the playoffs/win the superbowl because they peak at the right time again (and the rest of the division sucks balls/collapses) the world is gonna blow.

teams also have to travel a ton just to get there too

I'm sure most of those losses are to the saints.

The OP said "best homefield advantage, for whatever reason". If this is supposed to be a "which stadium is the loudest", it should probably be edited to say as such. Denver and Seattle might be loud, but when combined with records over 5 years, the results don't show that big of a homefield advantage. For example, the Braves are lights out at home this year and pedestrian on the road. Therefore, they have a huge homefield advantage in the playoffs this year, but Turner Field is far from the most intimidating place to play.

I went to the old stadium, which was called Mile High Stadium, in 1996 for a Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders game. It was sometime in December. And it was on a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah where my grandfather lived after retiring from the Air Force.
youve never been to mile high, how would you know?
I have also been to Denver Broncos games when they traveled to Tennessee to play the Titans (November of 2007), and when they traveled to play the Atlanta Falcons (September of 2000).
Do you have any more questions regarding my fanhood, since you seem so obsessed with following me around calling me a bandwagon fan, even though I continuously prove you wrong?

Seattle but its pointless to mention because everybody already knows about the best homefield and 12th mans power.
has just as much to do with flight time IMO

Dome stadiums dont count IMO
And yet you agree with Seattle. That stadium is engineered to boost sound. I guarantee 65,000 ppl in Seattle don't scream louder than 76,000 from new Orleans.

Has anybody in here bothered to look up any stats? This article from a couple years ago compared the home win % to away win %, which shows the teams that have the best advantage when playing at home. The top 5 (from 2002 to 2011) are:
Baltimore (35% higher at home)
Arizona (29% higher at home)
Seattle (26% higher at home)
San Francisco (24% higher at home)
Minnesota (24% higher at home)

But to get a clearer picture, we decided to compare each teams home win % to their, win % as a visitor and their win % overall. This gives us a better sense of home field advantage as we can take into consideration the win rate of the team overall.

and is still a pretty flawed way of looking at it.
It gives a huge advantage to bad teams

Fair enough.
Then maybe it would make more sense to find the difference in home win % vs. overall win %. In that case, the top 5 are:
Baltimore
Arizona
Seattle
Minnesota
San Francisco
Which is pretty much the same. And the more I think about it, I really don't think either way gives too much of an edge to bad teams. Bad teams lost a lot at home too. Both the Cardinals and 49ers had below .500 winning percentages during that time, with .55 at home and .26 to .30 away. Clearly they have a significant advantage at home.... Now I guess the argument is that the good teams get penalized by winning more away games and gaining an "advantage" by winning home games (that they would have won anyway) just by a wider margin...

they should've put the stadium in silverdale or bremerton...they'd never lose a game. Those shitholes would just drain all the enthusiasm for life out of the opposing teams
