You state that a game day in Tuscaloosa is not fun. that there is nothing else other than nice lakes and dreamland
But state that a game in SouthBend Indiana would be fun.
Have you been to South Bend? because Tuscaloosa gameday is 100% more fun with hotter women. also there will be a ton of Tennessee fans/students in town to make the weekend more fun.

I have not but other than Jackson MS, I've never been to a more bland place than TTown. Plus the in game experience is very generic compared to other top programs.

Been to both places a lot and for big and blah games.
Tuscaloosa is a better town, and there is more to do not involving the game, especially with the Strip right there.
But Notre Dame is a much better tailgating and gameday-related experience.
The way to do Notre Dame is to stay in Chicago, drive the 90 minutes super early on Saturday morning, tailgate all day, go to the game, then drive back to Chicago.

How long do you need? For a 2:30 kick off, everything will be going strong by 9AM. Have a few drinks, check out the campus and surrounding area, get lunch, have another drink, go to the game (weather will be perfect in late October), game is over around 6PM, plenty of time to hang out for a bit to let traffic clear, go get dinner around 7, plenty of time to enjoy the nightlife. Couldn't work out any better.

USC will probably be ranked really high come the ND game - so will Bama but Bama will roll over UT.
And if ND gets past Georgia and State early in the year, they will be getting all the typical hype and love coming into the USC game.

For best game I'd go FSU vs L'ville. Bama will skull drag UT this year just like the past decade. Bunch of butthurt LSU fans in this thread hating on Tuscaloosa but I'd put it's game day atmosphere against anybody else in the country, it's just that the game won't be very competitive.
